North Carolina Turnpike Authority launches in-vehicle payment pilot

Soon some drivers in North Carolina will be using their cars to pay tolls, without the need for any additional third-party payment mechanism, as an in-car payment pilot gets underway, led by North Carolina Turnpike Authority (NCTA).
